Terms of Service

Pre-Launch Notice: These Terms of Service reflect the operational architecture of the Find Nearby People application (Android package: com.findnearby.people). Official corporate registration details, registered business address, and counsel review will be finalized prior to public commercial release.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Find Nearby People mobile application ("App") and associated backend API services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Find Nearby People. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable laws.

3. Community Safety & Code of Conduct

Find Nearby People is dedicated to safe, respectful connections. You agree not to:

  • Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, or threaten any other user.
  • Upload nudity, sexually explicit material, violence, hate speech, or content that infringes upon third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Create fraudulent accounts, impersonate any individual or entity, or misrepresent your age or identity.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or unauthorized API clients to access or scrape data from the App.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, security controls, or privacy jitter protections.

Reporting & Blocking: You can block any user at any time to instantly hide your profile and prevent all communication. You can also submit an in-app safety report. Violations of community safety result in permanent account termination without refund.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

  • Billing Provider: All digital subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing.
  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle through your Google Play account settings.
  • Cancellation: When you cancel a subscription, paid entitlements (such as extended discovery radius or VIP features) remain active until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled in accordance with the standard Google Play refund policies.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, visual design, logos, trademarks, and backend architectures associated with Find Nearby People are the exclusive property of Find Nearby People. You retain ownership of photos and content you upload, but grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display your content to other users in accordance with your privacy settings.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we employ rigorous security and rate-limiting controls, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or complete freedom from errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Find Nearby People shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
